Mentorship Services Remain Fully Operational in the Region
Despite the closure of the provincial network, announced for December 19 2025 due to a lack of government funding, we want to reassure the public and local entrepreneurs: mentorship services remain active and accessible in Gaspésie and Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
Regional leaders acted quickly to ensure continuity of services without interruption. Nothing changes for the entrepreneurs receiving support or for the volunteers involved.
“Entrepreneur mentorship is a free service that we, the MRCs and SADC offices in the region, consider essential to the economic development of our community.” – Nathalie Sirois, Regional Chair of Entrepreneur Mentorship for Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
Meetings are planned in the coming weeks to adjust our operations and continue fulfilling our mission: supporting local entrepreneurs and contributing to the economic vitality of our community.
The regional website remains a central information hub for anyone wishing to request mentorship or get involved as a mentor.
In summary:
-
Mentorship services remain fully active.
-
The organizations responsible for each sector of Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine continue to process mentorship requests and mentor applications.
